Years ago I started a blog on blogger posting about the daily happenings in our lives but I've forgotten the titile, the email address associated with it and the URL so I guess I'll start over.
I'm an Alabama divorced mom of two awesome college kids. I'm really doing this blog for them to have a digital diary in years to come. They won't appreciate it now but I think it will be cool to look back on years from now. I remember, even as a young child, of being mesmerized by just the few sentences my mom wrote in my baby book and the letters my dad sent home from his military stint in Germany. How neat it would have been if mom could have blogged about her adventures in beauty school, or her travels overseas as a military wife.
My life is far less interesting than my mother's was, at my age or any other, but it's what I am...sorry for not being more exciting, kids! :-)
Today is a Sunday, we are all home together tonight. Cody in his room playing the newest Guild Wars game, Brittany in the living room making deco mesh wreaths (she's so good at it!) and me online watching for my ebay listings to end ($200 so far for used clothes that have been taking up space in my closet for far too long - woot!!). Treasuring these times of us all being under the same roof. Cody will be moving to Jacksonville to attend JSU in January. Only a few months of togetherness left. :-(
